Don't think you need an international drivers licence for the USA any more. Yaers ago you did and the AA issued them for �5.
As long as your licence has a photograph of yourself, think you will be safe enough to drive.
Remember to carry your licence with you at all times and also your passport if there is no photograph on your licence. You must also have held a full licence for at least a year.
