Windows fault - Illegal System DLL Relocation
When I turn my pc on I've had a dialog box appear headed
'RTHDCPL . EXE - Illegal System DLL Relocation'
and states
'The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occured because the DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\HHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.'
I presume this is some kind of virus but I've run Norton which hasn't found anything, and I've not done anything recently which may have caused left my pc open to attack.. i.e visited dodgy websites or open spam emails.
My pc appears to still be running fine. Powerpoint froze momentarily every 5 minutes or so yesterday but that seemed to stop when I turned the pc off and started it up again later on.
Anyone got any info etc ?
Many thanks..
