1 Kings Cross St Pancras underground
2. Kings Cross Thameslink
3 Kings Cross mainline
4 St Pancras mainline and Eurostar - the latter actually not open until the Autumn
If you are arriving at Kings Cross Thameslink (presumably from sarf of the river) you might be better if your ticket allows it to stay on the train and change to the Loughborough train at Luton or Bedford. A lot less walking.

Just to follow on, the Kings Cross/St Pancras underground is all one , but as St Pancras is undergoing major renovation at present, there is no underground walkway connecting the Tube to the mainline.
To walk from Thameslink to St Pancras would take around 10 minutes (depends how quickly you can get across the road). To walkfrom the Tube to St Pancras takes approximately 8 minutes (depending on how much of a hurry I'm in).
Have a safe trip./
