Has anyone identified the answer to question 24a?

several respondents here have suggested Rajasthan - but after endless web searches I cant find pictures that convince me.

I have also trawled looking at pictures of Rajasthan, and am not convinced either.

likewise - I have also looked at about a million photos of Yemen... no joy there, either!

I think I have now viewed every building, traditional or otherwise, from Morrocco to Nepal and everywhere with 'stan' on the end. I must have visitied every Islamic architecture site on the entire Internet at least twice - and I still havent found 24a. Are we totally off the mark? Are we looking on the wrong contintent?

I have also trawled every architectural site on the net. The tiles suggest somewhere fairly dry (they would be torn apart by British weather!). However the wooden door looks suspiciously European, so maybe we are all way off the mark.... Any ideas people?

I think 24a could be Portugal if as you say it might be Europe - otherwise Yemen is the nearest in building style. 25b looks too educated to be an exoplorer.
