I realise this is a crossword question requiring a five-letter answer, so the one offered above is certainly right, but I thought it was interesting in its own right...what would we call such a person, referring to the town itself rather than the country?
Malmoan, perhaps? I believe some natives of Reno in the USA call themselves Renoans.
In Devon, there is a town called Westward Ho! Perhaps the natives there call themselves 'Westward Hoans'. Anyone know for sure?
