Recommended European holiday for June

Hi, We've decided to go on hols in June this year and we'd love find a quiet, small hotel/apartment with nice places to walk to and a nice choice of beaches. We love the Greek islands and a few years ago we went to Argassi, Zante. It was lovely however we feel we should try somewhere new but simelar if possible. Has anyone got any recommendations. We also love the Greek Islands and have been to Argassi. I quite like Kos but it is up to individual choice. There are also nice places in Turkey. Ichmeller being one of them. Scenery is beautiful too but I think I would stick to some of the Greek Islands. I did not like Portugal though. Too busy for me Hope you post and tell us what you choose.

cosmos maris in lardos in rhodes 3 minutes from the beach its family run and really quiet thomson are the only company in britain to do it and at really competitive rates

We've been going to Skiathos for last 12 years. Not the largest island,but arguably the best beaches and some lovely walks. For scenery,I think possibly cephalonia of the islands we've visited

Can I add,last time we went to Kos,it was overrun with 18-30 brigade

LIke all holiday resorts, it is a mixture of young and old. Choosing the right part of an island you can avoid youngsters for the duration of your holiday. We were in a lovely part of Kos, not a youngster in sight.

Agree Skiathos is lovely but Corfu is fab - kalami ( see the link ) to the user name ! has stunning views - it used to be very quiet - don't know the score now - it is glorious and worth checking out

Not as built up as a lot of other tourist resorts.
