has anyone been to any of the islands in the maldives lately,want to go next june,are they ultra expensive on them?

went dec 1999, went to giravaru(?) halfbord. expensive but not that expensive. depends or what you eat and drink etc. book short notice through teletext, eg p224, or 259 on ch3....i went xmas 1999, brochure price 1600pp for 14nights, i paid �424pp! - excellent holiday!

I went a few years ago and I'm glad I was 'All Inclusive'.Bear in mind everything is imported and therefore expensive.I went with Kuoni and would definately go again.Serious savings to be made at Abu Dhabi and Bahrein 'Duty Frees' if you get a refuelling stop.
