i will have 5 months and 26 days left on my passport when i return from holiday in turkey do i have to renew my passport before i go

Quote from the website of the Turkish consulate in London:
"All passport holders are required to have a minimum of three months validity on their passports when they leave Turkey".

So your passport will be valid for entry into Turkey.
