Cape Verde uses a 220V supply, at 50Hz, so travellers from the UK don't need to worry about voltage differences. (The UK has a nominal supply voltage of 230V but 220V is within an acceptable tolerance).

There are two types of plug in use: '2-pin round' and '2-pin flat'. See pictures C & F, here:
