Hi there: I'll be in Poland for a total of two days, can anyone tell me how much Polish money I should take? I should say I'm on a budget.

It is very cheap in Kracow, if you eat off the main square then food is very reasonable, you can get a snack for a couple of pounds, a main meal for 5. Local cafe's are very good value, drinks are cheap. Buy soft drinks from the supermarkets, some hotels don't have tea and coffee facilties, so take a travel kettle and adaptor, some rooms have fridges so supermarkets sell all in one mixes.
Transport is very cheap, buses, trams or taxis cost a few pounds. However a taxi from the airport into krakow will cost a bout 30 unless you prebook, the bus is regular and cheap.
Local crafts are very reasonable.
Planned excursions are quite expensive, about 20 but are possible to do yourself with preplanning
Hope this helps.
