Would anyone know if it is alright to travel on a passport that is in your maiden name and not your married one.? As long as the airline tickets are also in your maiden name.

The person who is travelling has been married for five years now but still has four years left on the passport. It will cost around 65 to change it. So would that still be ok to use do you think.?
My passport is still in my maiden name (I married 5 years ago) and have travelled twice with it since then with no problems. Just make sure any tickets you purchase are in your maiden name or it may cause problems.
