Valhalla, near Regensburg

Will be visiting Regensburg with Mrs. S
next month. She has mobility problems,
so the many steps up to the Valhalla
monument/building are very difficult.

Does anyone know if motor-vehicles are
allowed to make the ascent ?

Chris, you're a brick.

I e-mailed Regensburg and received a rapid
reply. It seems that if one avoids the main car-park,
and approaches Valhalla on a minor road from
the north, we can walk a short distance through a
wood to the monument. This we shall do.
