honeymoon ideas

My friend who lives in Athens, Greece has asked me to find her some honeymoon suggestions. She is looking to go to somewhere sunny, between 2-4 hours flight time, not too close but not too far away from greece. Any ideas?

(Place your cursor over each destination to see which airlines serve it).
I can't see that there are many suitable non-European destinations but, for reference, here's the map:

The most obvious choices (i.e. destinations which are usually considered 'romantic') would seem to be Paris (possibly not guaranteed to be sunny enough), Venice and Rome. However, I'd suggest taking a look at the possibility of Barcelona. It's a city which has something for all tastes. (Great beaches, both quiet & lively bars, fantastic restaurants and loads of history & culture):

How about Greece (I know she already lives there) ?
There are loads of islands and I cannot believe she has vistied them all.
They are hot, and not too far from Athens. Language wont be a problem !

If does not want to go to Greece then how about Italy.
Plenty of coastline if they want somewhere by the sea.
Also Florence is a beautiful and romantic city:

Overall though you have to say PARIS is THE romantic city in Europe and even if not hot is great for couples to stroll round hand in hand. Best romantic strolling city in Europe.
