Disney Resort Paris
Im thinking about a holiday in Disneyland Paris next year. I'd have liked to gone to Orlando but its just way over our budget. Has anyone any experience going there?
There are some good packages going even in the Disney hotels. But there are so many to choose from im not sure which ones the best, our kid is 4 years old.
Any advice would be appriciated. ;o)

The first time we went we stayed at the Cheyenne (with 5 and 3 year old) - although there are loads of buses to the park it is were just too tiring to keep going back and forth. Second time we splashed out on the Disneyland Hotel and it was much better, we could walk back to the park several times a day, including last thing on an evening when there are no queues.
The best tip I can give you is take lots of snacks for your child as they are very expensive in the park - we took loads of crisps and cartons of juice, then took plenty of fruit from the hotel breakfast buffet. Also, check whether the hotel has tea and coffee making facilties - believe me you will need it as the park is very tiring.
I think your 4 year old will absolutely love it there, it's perfect for children of that age, and Florida will suit him/her better when he's older.

Got to agree with Kags, we went last year when our girls were four and it was fantastic. We went to the Disney Hotel too and got to have breakfast with some of their favourite characters every morning. It was nice too at the end of the day just walking a very short distance to the hotel instead of taking exhausted kids on a long trek.
Also agree about the food prices - we just about fainted the first time we payed for a meal - burger , chips, drink and a small cake worked out to about 6 a head if I remember right. Being total cheapskates we used to put some croissants and stuff from the buffet breakfast in our bags and have that for lunch.
It is expensive but the girls faces made it worth every penny. Get one of the autograph books and take it with you everywhere you go - a great thing to bring home and remember all the characters you met.
Have a great time x
