Lost lake

Now widowed, on two previous occasions on trips to France my beloved husband and I found the same lake twice by chance. I have a lovely photo of the lake but cannot for the life of me remember where it is. It seems like an impossible task but does anyone have any idea where I might post the photo, probably on a French website in the rather unlikely event that someone might recognise it?.

Next year would have been our silver wedding anniversary and I would dearly love to revisit the lake on that occasion.

France is a very big country..............can you narrow it down to a reigon/department and town or city nearby

The nearest I can remember from twenty years ago was that it lies somewhere in the square bounded by Nantes and Tours in the north to Rochefort and Limoges to the south.

It was definitely on a D road.

sorry still cant help , my parent live in france and near where they live, just south east of Niort close to a small town called Chef Boutonne there are a least 4-5 lakes.
