Airline on TV
Did you see the man who missed his wedding in Barcelona because he was refused a flight because of his tatty passport?. At some stage it had been through a washing machine and the photo became detached. He seemed quite proud of the fact that he had used it several times in that condition so it was not new damage. I have no sympathy at all for people like this and hope that it is a lesson to others.

I just wouldnt take ANY chances with my passport in the current climate -his bleeding photo was almost hanging off.
Can you imagine the uproar if hypthetically there had been an act of terrorism.
Its often a lose/lose situ with the arilines.
Dont get me started on Ryanair tho and their new policy with paying for every bag you check in -there is NO such thing as a low cost airline and Ryanair are the WORST I have ever had the misfortune to travel with -grrr
