Does anybody know if Ipswich rail station has any lockers to store some items safely for a few hours

Under current security regulations, no UK railway stations are permitted to provide left luggage facilities unless they have to facilities to hand search and/or X-ray all items. Only a few major stations, apart from mainline London termini, have such facilities. Regrettably, Ipswich is not one of them.

I was about to say I hope no British station has a facility whereby you can just leave something, say a rucksack (+ bomb), for a few hours without some pretty major security checks.
