I always though Alitalia stood for - All Landing in Turin - All Luggage in Athens. :-)
When my son got married in Istanbul 3 of our guests flew with Alitalia and all had delayed luggage. 1 waited 3days ad the other 2 waits 2 days dor it to turn up. Luckily they arrive 4 days before the wedding, so had their wedding finery in time. They were all on serarate flights, not together.
