Hotel in Hornchurch or Grays Area

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced Hotel in these areas, my husband needs to work nearby for a couple of weeks, posted in food and drink too, not sure where it should be!! Thanks

There is no hotel in Grays on their website but one a Lakeside, Thurrock - put Grays into the search on tripadvisor

sorry but Palms Hotel might have a Hornchurch address but its not really in Hornchurch proper, its on the road to Southend.
Another idea is to stay at the IBIS hotel in Barking and Grays is about 12mins straight down the A13 or Travel Lodge at Beckton and Grays is about 15 mins straight down the A13, either has a big supermarket very close by, but Beckton is next to DLR which connects you with the London Underground it also has a reasonable restaurant next door.

Romford is a bit dodgy at weekends because of the late night clubs, other two are quiet.
