My Hubby and I are going to the Domican Republic for the first time in a few weeks and I am getting very excited!!!

Anyway, What I really wanted to know is how much money would you recommend I take with me. We are all inclusive at the hotel so that is Food and (plenty of) drink covered, but are souveneirs, excersions etc expensive? We are going for two weeks. Also would you recommened us taking the monay with us or drawing it out whilst we are there?
