is it possible?

me and a few friends are thinking about goin away, to turkey, once we have finished our gcse's and we wer wondering if it is possible for people who are 16 to go on holiday without their parents?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.just a warning that a lot of hotels and airlines have issues with people under 18 travelling without adults, particularly with hotels due to the risk of damage. also think about it, going abroad without parents, do any of you speak the language, how would you deal with something going wrong? my suggestion would be to go somewhere in england or perhaps to ireland as you are more likely able to get into a hotel and the travel wouldn't be an issue. same issue happened to me and my friends.
have you all got the okay from your parents ? presume they will have to fork out for the trip.What about your holiday insurance have u thought about that ?
I cant see the tour companies saying yes [ computer says no] to unaccompanied 16yr olds, but if you dont ask them you wont know. I think by the term "responsible adult" they mean someone over 21 years of age.

Dassie, I was having similar thoughts....
I've just sat my GCSE's (yes, English language was one of my subjects) and I know that my parents would not let me go abroad alone, so you should probably get the all-clear before worrying about age limits.
Just a bit of advice =)
Also, I know you can fly with Jet2 at 16, so it may be similar for other airlines.
