I want to book a weeks holiday for Oct half term.I want somewhere that will be sunny but a short flight as we hate flying.Any suggestions?(flying from Birmingham)

you've not said what your definition of "short flight" is, but at that time of year you're probably going to need to travel for 2 hours to be sure of warm sunshine. Just over 2 hours will take you to Barcelona, Palma (Mallorca) and the south of France, to name but a few.

Thanks Mushroom,i just want the shortest flight to the sun.I think Spain is the most probable.
