Rude woman

Why are some people so obnoxious? Driving on Saturday, in my home town there is a huge roundabout which I know confuses a lot of people. The lane markings go against the normal "keep left unless turning right" roundabout rule because the left lane takes you on to the motorway so everyone else has to be in the right hand lane. I was doing this and a woman behind me who was in the left hand lane but was actually coming my way, beeped at me and made rude gestures. She made a fool of herself because she was totally in the wrong, but I was so angry that she felt the need to carry on like that, I just wanted to stop the car, stroll back to her and point to the road markings. Why are people so arrogant?

I know exactly what you mean but sometimes you just have to either shout back or ignore them and let them get on with it and if they drive that badly, just hope they wrap their car around the next lamp post

I bought one of those messenger things that flash messages in the back of your car (like some motorway police cars have) and programmed it with "learn to drive u a$$hole"
very childish i admit....but makes me feel better!!!!

it would be best in that type of situation just to wave back at the person giving the rude sign
it really irritates them when they see no response other than the wave to them
when you wave back at them and your able to see their face it can be a right picture and a lot more satisfying to yourself

Bob, just the way to get the other driver even more riled up enough to retaliate, cut you up, even make you stop and assault you. It is annoying but best not to get involved.
