No - no legal limit

There is a limit above which you have to declare it, but it's still allowed. Not sure if it's �10K or $10K.

And customs may get suspicious anyway - they can seize it if you can't prove how you came by it.

Bugler - I know it isn't the same - but I think here in the USA if we make a bank deposit of $10,000 or more the bank has to report it to the IRS - but under that amount they don't. I can't verify this information, because my bank deposits don't even come CLOSE to $10,000. :)
