fresh holidays - has anyone heard of them, ignore last post got the name wrong
HI I was in the internet looking for a holiday and came across Fresh Holidays, has anyone used them or heard of them. They have really good prices but I don't want to book and find out that it is too good to be true, you hear so many horror stories of companies going bust and leaving customers stranded. Look forward to any replies. liza

and you'll see they won an award from Travel Trade Gazette, which is a proper industry newspaper and would presumably not be giving them to fly-by-nights. I'm not too sure what a dynamic packaging operator is, of course. (Low down the page)

Hi L - TTG is a respectable trade rag so their awards are worthwhile. Re Tthe Dynamic packaging......it is simply a programme that assembles the clients itinerary as if they were doing it themselves (ie online) -getting the best location, travel prices, accommodation etc - and then gives the tour operator a package to sell. Extract below from one of the providers should answer this better:
What is dynamic packaging?
Put simply, dynamic packaging is travel industry jargon for a cheaper and more flexible way of booking a holiday. In terms of the customer/consumer, the premise is that dynamic packaging mimics the experience of visiting a travel agent and negotiating a deal the consumer wants.
In terms of the agent dynamic packaging allows them to package their own holidays and make better margins, whilst still offering a competitive price compared to their direct competitors. That said, you'll rarely see the phrase on a web site. Sites have adopted rather more straightforward descriptions of the technology other then dynamic packaging such as: Book Together and Save, Build Your Own or Flight + Hotel, etc.
Hope that helps, and have fun..

I went with them in May - stayed at Laguna Park 2 in Tenerife - they had the best price, although I hadn't heard of them either but had no problems, the flights were with Monarch so I could have booked them myself I guess but it was easier doing it all in one go as I had a transfer too.
I took their Supplier Failure Cover for a fiver for peace of mind which says it covers you in the event of a supplier going bust. They are part of the On Holiday Group.
