Hi me and then boyfriend (now hubby) went there around 10 years ago. It was fab!!! If your into that Blackpool kind of thing! There was loads of noisy tacky bars and of course we saw the famous Sticky Vicky and other strippers, visited the Hypodrome nightclub and had lots of great drunken nights at the age of 19 years. The beach was packed though and you had to literally clamber over people to find a space for your towel and it was full of gay men who thought nothing of caressing each other in full view of anyone who happened to look and snogging too!! But it didn't really bother us at the time however it is not a place I would take my 3 year daughter to now for a family holiday!! Hope you have a great time

Hello tigwig thanks for posting that you have made me feel so nice now about what you said about benidorm have not been there for ages and only been there once and I know that we will have a very good practice hoonymoon for the dominican republic next year when we get wed in may next year (oh my god is that normal a 52 year old getting it on with a 45 year old) sorry but will be up for the karioke in benidorm in a few weeks time and givineg (whoopsp) large and will not even think about posting on here unless you ask me to

Hi, we went to Benidorm last September and stayed on the Levante side. Found it really lively and great for everyone. The amusement parks are immense. Make time to go to Aqualandia and Terra Mitica, they are out of this world.

Found a mint pub called Panchos, they have a dj who plays mad games for the kids. You have to take the kids out at 11.30pm as Sticky Vicky starts her show then. God i still feel sick..........her show is horrible.

Fantastic beach, loads of clubs/bars and out of this world parks. Good all round holiday, enjoy.
