Going to orlando on Saturday, should i be ringing anybody up to confirm things ie airport, hotel, travel company?

I do a lot of buiness travel and as long as you have all the booking confirmations in writing (and take these with you) I find that's enough.

You haven't been the one responsible for the booking anyway have you? Or you would have got yourself a car! So, No, you don't need to confirm anything. If anyone does, it's the person responsible for booking the holiday.

As I said, if you have written confirmations for everything, you'll be fine. If not, it's worth calling to confirm, getting the name of the person that you speak to and asking for a reference or booking number.

Again, just make sure you have your confirmation numbers with you. You won't need to call anyone or anything. Orlando lives for tourists so if you have your confirmations and something goes wrong they will find you something, probably better than what you booked in the first place. There is so much to see and do there, you'll have a blast.

Sorry baba - wasn't taking the mickey. I just thought that on previous threads you'd said the holiday was being taken out of your hands (so to speak) and was being organised by family and that's why you didn't have a hire car - because they'd decided it wasn't needed. Realise you'll be there now! Wow - hope you're enjoying yourself and all that excitement was worth it.
