cheapest/best/easiest way to get to London from Dorset?
I live in Dorset and may need to go to central London next week for an interview. I was going to take the train but not having travelled by train in many years was shocked to see the cheapest ticket price is 46 and that means taking a later train.
Can anyone advise a cheaper way of travelling? If I go by car it will be cheaper but where would I park and how much would that cost? by the time I factor in car park price + hassle it may still be best to take the train.
Any help or advice appreciated.

have checked coach timetables and this would involve changing en route and is considerably longer in duration than the train.i did consider driving my car to the edge of london and then taking the train in but as said above altho more expensive, the train is far more convenient....in this instance anyway!
