I am holding a 50th birthday party soon - for 50 people it is in december and would like some fantastic ideas for the evening - I would love to have some kind of theme and have about 100 to spend on entertainment - I have the venue and food sorted - an obvious theme would be gold and silver but unfortunately I did that in the summer I fancy a murder mystery evening but there will be children there -plus I don't think a 100 will be enough for that Please help
Seeing as this person was born in 1957 why not make it a fiftyies themed night with rock and roll music etc also this person would remember the 60s beatles era so you could make it a 50s/60s night with dress to match.
Went to a fantastic 50th a few years ago - they say life starts at 50, so it was a "second childhood" party. People came dressed as toys, brownies etc and we played pass the parcel, pin the tail on the donkey, etc. A fantastic time was had by all!
Thanks Guys
I have a lot of work to do - but - all of these themes would work with the lot I have coming - the children's theme is a good idea - cos some I have in mind would push the kids out of the way for a lolly pop
I agree with thug. Since by the time you have the party we all would be sick of Christmas, a summer/warm weather theme might be fun. Pina coladas, etc., and virgin drinks for the little ones.
