Train from paris to Liege Belguim

Staying in Paris for a few days but need to get to Liege afterwards.
Does anyone know if I can get a train connection and roughly how long would this journey take.

There are through trains taking 2.5 to 3 hours (in my rather elderly TT - they may have been speeded up!) and plenty more changing in Brussels.

but, the through trains now do the journey in 2hr13mn, and the services with connection at Brussel are nearly every 30mn with journey time up to 3hrs.
