Remembrance day in london

as we will be in london this weekend i thought we may be able to go to the remembrance day march and service where the queen lays a wreath - can anyone give me directions, times etc please (i assume its on this sunday being 11th)? also have a totally free day on friday in london if you can suggest anything for us to do? thanks so much

It's at 11am in Whitehall - just off the south corner of Trafalgar Square - near Charing Cross.
If you are female & like fashion, the Couture exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum is fabulous - highly recommended - and the rest of the museum is lovely too - my favourite.

The other exhibition I saw - last week - that was really interesting was this one on Zaha Hadid, the architect at the Design Museum near the Tower of London (but opposite side of Tower Bridge)

The most amazing and unusual building & furniture. There is also a Matthew Williamson show but I'm not a great fan of his. The dresses are so flimsy it's amazing they lasted the evening! They certainly won't last long enough to be shown at the V & A in 50 years time!

Depending on your interests I think the V & A is best.
