im in a real bad situtaion at the moment my mum just told me she booked a holiday for us two on the 11th of december and she didnt know my passport wasnt up to date does anyone know how to get my passport as soon as possible !!! im going post office today getting a form sending it away but is that enough !!! plz help !!

first I would check with either the passport office in Dublin or at the post office if there are any current delays in processing given that it is a quieter time of year, secondly is there a fast track system? I know that in the North you could 'walk' your application round the passport office in one day (was quite pricey tho') , also you could pay extra at the PO for them to check it and this also speeds up the process. Good luck but I think you will probably have plenty of time, just check to make sure.

Give them a call and ask for advice - act quickly, and I'd guess you'll be OK

If you are prepared to go to the passport office and queue wait, you should be able to get it done immediately - at a price!!
