KM Links Game - November week 3 Results
11 Answers
And a very Good Morning to all the early risers - I hope you've had a good weekend and that the sun is shining at least somewhere in the UK this morning.
Too early I think for the KM Link words just yet, unless Aquagility has made a speedy return from the Pyrenees before his bits & pieces fall off and If he has, I doubt he'll be venturing out before he's defrosted !!!
There seems to be snow and ice the length and breadth of the country and he goes to the Pyrenees - I ask you !!!
So, at some stage, a little later perhaps, trusty sarumite will brave the elements and struggle to the shop for his papers, come home needing to be fortified with something strong [ and alcoholic ] and we won't see him for the rest of the day either.
Doesn't bode well for the rest of us, does it !!!
A little 'house keeping' first though - thanks to DustyBun I now know what a Pudsey Bear is - he's so cute, thanks for that, DB and a message for Prescott - you're quite correct, the Telegraph Crossword is emailed to me each Sat. & Mon. by JimJools [ bless her ] along with a few others in far off places, so I am 'winging it' a bit when I put in my entry, having no idea what the question was, but that's half the fun.
Well that's all from me for the time being - I wait with bated breath for the link words, so I can go do my scoring or [ probably ] some flippant abuse from sarumite !!
Catch up with you all later, cheers from [ very ] sunny Oz

Bulldog CLIP
ELECTRICITY Pylon
DILL Pickle
STRAWBERRY Roan
Methinks some high scoring may result, although yet another miserable O for me!!! ☺ (S)

Hello - I sense rebellion in the ranks, some-one's throwing their weight around - perhaps you should have gone with Strawberry Roan, after all, Strix !!!!
Well, it turned into a 'middling' week, if such a thing exists - the four links went off within the first four entries, most people picked up points and I'd dearly love to give a half-point for everyone who picked Electric Pylon - I may have to consult with crofter for a ruling on that one.
OK - bonus points went to jan1956 for Dill Pickle,
Jools swiped 4 points for Bulldog Clip and Electricity Pylon and MalcolmR took out the last points with Strawberry Roan plus 1 extra.
miss meg & brizzer both picked up 4 points each for correctly selecting all four matches.
DizzyLizzie, lysander, paulineward, Magyar & wickedtongue all scored 3 points, while Jmr27, Chrisiana, DustyBun, gen2, cpfcrosiel, Elspeth, twosearch, Aquagility, ShazzaHewit & eccles all scored 2 points and 21 of us each scored 1 point, so well done, troops,
At this point, I shall take myself off with the second hand abacus, completely dust-proof, and the worry beads, and add everything up, and return later with the updated leader board - I have a feeling there may have been some changes there, but only time will tell - bye for now S

well, put out the flags and sound the trumpets! Dustybun scored 2 points!! I suppose there's got to be a first time for everything!! Thanks Steph for all your hard work and I am delighted you have now made the acquaintance of our Pudsey! I don't think anyone in England doesn't know who Pudsey is, but we forget that there is no reason why our overseas friends should know him! D :0)
