Nice places to stay and eat in Manchester?
Flying off on holiday from Manchester soon and have never been there before, having a day and night there prior to catching flight - can anyone recommend a nice hotel/bed and breakfast and some nice restaurants - I live in Brum and am looking for somewhere like our mailbox (not majorly expensive though).
Thanks so much in advance,x

Last time we stayed over at the city inn for 99, but booked a few weeks in advance (normally 169) incl breakfast. This was a sat night so may change for a weekday.
Good restaurants are San Rocco and Piccolino's (both Italian) , La Tasca (Spanish) and the Living Room, but there are loads of different types and prices.
