Hello, can anyone tell me what Newcastle is like? I'm looking on the internet at places for my hen weekend in June and I would like to know what its like? Can any recommend accomodation, pubs/clubs/bars & shopping etc. Also, where is the best area to stay in? Thanks, Sue

There is a disco on an anchored boat. I think it is called The Tuxedo Princess or something.

It was quite nice as far as discos go.

Hi SusanLisa, i live in newcastle upon tyne, if you are looking to have a energetic time, i would recommend the Big Market, if you are looking to have an energetic time with a bit of class, i would say go to the Quayside, if you are looking to do some shopping, go to Eldon Square and Northumberland, Susan, if you Google, Partyinnewcastle.co.uk this will help you, i'm sorry but i don't know how to put link's up on a screen, but there is a lot on Google about newcastle. love and hugs megan. xxxxxxxxx

Go to Spanish City, it looked so pretty to me when we were kids. A city that spawned Hank Marvin and Mark Knopfler has to be pretty good.

Pubs...Quayside and Collinwood St are best for drinking.

The Gate is a chav place as is the big market,although there are a lot of hen parties down the Bigg Market.

Whitley Bay is good for Hen nights etc.

You could get a B&B down Whitley Bay and the pubs are very nearby.

Hi Susan, if you need to go to Whitly Bay from newcastle, you go to the very large bus station at the back of M&S, and you get on the, Whitly Bay 355 bus, love megan. xxxx
