The only reference I can find on Tripadvisor is this one where someone had booked to stay in Pilar de la Horadada thinking it was Alicante, when in fact it is Alicante province and is 60km from the town and 50km from the airport. but maybe you already knew this?

my sister has an apartment in orilehoe (spelt wrong) and we go quite often she has told me to hire a car and visit the place you mention said its very nice!
