My preference would be Kauai, but if you and your partner are happiest walking about and sight seeing and not fussed about baking under the sun then why not do London and Ireland? :)

Well I don't know what prices are like in Kauai - but you probably get more for your money than you would in London or Ireland. Then there's the weather thing.....

Yeah, completely correct about the money side of it. I'd be surprised if the currency isn't USD, I admit I have no idea what the exchange rate is at the moment, but it was very nearly $2 to the �1 suring the Summer - bargains galore!

Well in some ways that depends where you are starting from - if it's Luton, Bedfordshire, then London might not be a special destination, if it's Normalville, Iowa, then yes it would be.

Then again it depends on whether you prefer sightseeing in a temperate climate (cynic's translation - cold and windy) or lounging by the pool or on the beach in a sub-tropical paradise (cynic's translation tropical hell-hole).

I'm not actually going to answer the question - you know what you like, not me. Either is suitable if it's what you like.
