childs passport expires!!

my daughters passport expires may 08 but were travelling to spain for one week in feb. will she be ok to travel on it or does it need 6months? please help?

As far as the Spanish authorities are concerned it will be fine - it just needs to be valid.

There are very very few countries that actually require 6 months - it's a myth spread by the travel trade so they don't need to train their staff to know which countries those are.

EU nationals are only required to produce evidence of their EU nationality and identity in order to be admitted to any EU Member State. This evidence can take the form of a valid national passport or national identity card. Either is acceptable. Passports held by EU nationals need only be valid upon entry to and exit from Spain

The 6-month rule is an urban myth.
