Speeding Fines/ Court Summons

Thanks for the help so far, Yes I was caught in May and it is only today that I have had the notice sent through to me.

Having looked through the paper work they can not even get my name right I don't know if this will help me in any way. But I have spoken with a serving officer and they have said that it is outside of the time limit as well. They must have taken action before the End of October 2007, not serve them dated 24/01/2008.

If they cant get your name right then the summons is obviously not for you - send it back 'Not known at this address' lol

Seriously take legal advice but I believe it should be thrown out by the judge, maybe entertaining to go as the Judge offen slags off the police for being incompetent and wasting court time ... always a pleasure to hear lol
