Hi folks,

Can anyone suggest a decent hotel, maybe all inclusive, with sole occupancy available in Goa. I want something relaxing, but with a bit of life & close to markets for shopping.

Many thanks,
Jersey C.I.

i went to Goa using Solitair

well worth a look

I recomment the Victor Exotica in Candolim, its near enough to the hustle & bustle but nice and peaceful, they will look after you, worth using their tailors also.
All inclusive I would not recommend anywhere in Goa, food and booze is so cheap [ Litre bottle of Shmirnoff about 5] you wont save anything and who wants to eat the same food for 2 weeks? on the main road at Candolim there about 30 or more restaurants to choose from and if you are on your own they will really look after you.Lots of ladies on their own there.
Dont choose Calangut, its for the young crownd and very noisy.
Visit the Spice Fields, well worth a trip and the weekly market for bargains, never pay the asking price for any goods in Goa offer half what they ask and come to some sort of a deal half way between the two.
You might be better off to book flight only and book hotel on the net.
Hope you enjoy, we go every year.
If you still fancy all-inclusive, the Sun Village in arpora (near baga beach) is very good, it's very clean & the food is excellent.
