Can I take a disposable razor in my hand luggage or in the plastic bag for fluids on a BA flight from London to Sydney ?

NO! I'm pretty sure this would count as a weapon. If you can't take knitting needles in hand luggage then I'd be very surprised if you could take a razor!
I fly often and from heathrow and always carry a disposable razor in my hand luggage. I have never once been stopped for it.
There's a difference between razor blades and a safety razor with the blades built in. Unless you threaten the pilot 'Take me to Iraq or I'll give you a Brazilian', I can't see they'd be any great risk and I doubt anyone would take them off you.
sorry, I said safety, I meant disposable.
