My family and I are considering moving to Australia. I have a bad credit history in the UK due to a failed business. I have a number of CCJ's against me that I pay monthly amounts to and will continue to do so when we have moved. When you move to Australia do mortgage companies and the like search your UK credit history or do you start from scratch and build up a new credit rating in the new country?
