Where I went on my day off

Mrs dustypuss and I decided to go to Scarborough . W started of on the north side near sea world and did a bit of rock pooling got our selves some winkles for our supper , Then we went and did the arcades (lost �1.00)
.I got my self some fish stick from the stall near the life boat station from the women who only knows how to say ( Fresh to day treat your self ) I fed most of them to the little sandpipers lovely little birds . came home about 5pm. the sunshine all day was lovely . Thank to all who suggested Whitby but it's a bit awkward to get to by train from York.

sounds like you had a lovely day dustypuss. My second fave place is Scarborough. Mind you, you live in a beautiful place too. I spent my honeymoon in York and loved it.
You've made me want a day out by the seaside now especially as the sun is shining!!!

Is it sunny by you,julie...it certainly isnt here in Plymouth...by the water-lol!......and dusty-that sounded like the ideal day out. I am off next week and I intend taking myself to Totnes...the old 'hippy trail' town not far from here......no high street stores and some truly weird and wonderful shops.

I must try that, especially going to the seaside.

The last fab day out I had at the seaside was years ago, when I went to Hastings. A lovely place and I had a lovely day.

I may go back!

sounds like you had a lovely day dusty. I've not been to Scarborough for years. Last time I went to the seaside was blackpool about 18 months ago. Flipping freezing but was a great day :)
