it would really be difficult for anyone to give you a definate answer. Summer time is a school holiday period so prices will be higher and nearer the time there may not even be seats available. I live in the UK and travel for holidays in Europe a few times a year. In my opinion I used to find that if you waited until nearer the time you could get flights/holidays really cheaply. Over the past couple of years I have found the opposite. Now I just book basically when I make the decision but I do always keep an eye on my flight prices. For example I travelled to Geneva at New Year. I booked my flight around August time and paid quite a reasonable price. Come the week before I was due to fly it was triple the price. On the flight there were several empty seat - I think they put up the price to get anything they could rather than bring the price right down and they may have managed to fill the flight but without the same revenue.
