Hello again everyone and welcome to the third week of my reign as Lady Alex
of the Links
.

Last week, I told you all that I was brought up in Scotland, but when I got married we moved to England. ("Missionary work" as some fellow Scots would have it!) When we lived in Essex (Yes, I was for a while an Essex girl!) and worked in central London, we made friends with people from all over the world. Quite a culture shock for someone from Fife: a county that until January of this year you had to pay a road toll both to enter and to leave!

Travelling to Europe and even to America (remember Freddy Laker?) became possible and we had the cultural delights of London's theatres on our doorstep, the quieter pleasures of the Essex lanes and villages and, for Lord Alex, lots of sporting venues. We found that we became very popular at this time in our life, as we offered a very handy overnight stop for Scots friends and relatives on their holidays.

Those of you who were in the Shrubbery last week will know that I attended an International Women's Centre Show on Friday, which had all sorts of
entertainment from the Dark Continent and beyond. This reminded me of old friends and new cultures, so, with the tinkling of bells and jungle rhythms still lingering in my ears, I reminisce. Enough of this day-dreaming: to the business in hand!

Needless to say, for the everyday running of MM, I will follow the same rule as introduced by crofter on word length. Each of my chosen link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts!

Each of my selected link words may go in front or behind my challenge word! The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm, when crofter will declare my selected words and then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past.

My third set of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am. This week, I am trying hard not to be so predictable!

Happy Linking and Good Luck to you all.
sound of bells and rhythms...hmm....music theme maybe?
