it's cheap, there are loads of drugs and you can tell your friends what a spritual experience you had..

i can see its appeal, just like clubbing was massive and the best thing to do - years ago. clubbing now is just folk trying to hang on to something long gone, goa had its appeal, now id imagine its just the same. burnt out shaders holding on to their youth.

Fantastic beaches in the South - never been to the North so can't comment.

Very friendly people, wonderful food and cheap.

I'd go again.

No sad people dont go to Goa, they are everywhere.
I have been fortunate to have travelled to most places in the world except Japan and where did I buy a holiday home in Goa.
Dont knock it if you havent been and south Goa is much nicer quieter and more refined tourists than Calangut which is a bit of a dump these days but who has made it like that I am sorry to say the tourists.
