Could you tell me what I need to bring on my trip to New York City???

Some spare socks, plenty of dollars and a guide book.

Clean undies! Basic set of toiletries and not too many clothes if you are planning on doing some serious shopping. Hotels have hairdryers and towels. On our last trip to Florida we brought back 17 pairs of shoes between 4 of us!

Good comfy walking shoes as this is the best way to see the area.
Also check the weather forecast and pack your clothes accordingly. I went in March for a week and on the first day there was snow on the ground. By the end of the week it was shorts and t-shirt weather

Also bring a hat and gloves and scarf for the open top bus tours which can get cold even in warm weather

A GUN,, nope only joking most things cheaper than the UK so the less you buy before you go the more you can buy when you get there, plenty of fake designer gear too ENJOY YOUR VACATION. Agree with spudqueen re immigration no smiling please.
