Is Ibiza still going off in true Ibiza fashion during the first week in September?? Also, Please provide me with any information on cheap accommodations/hostals in Ibiza Town. Is Ibiza Town THE place to live if one wants a great party scene?? Thanks!

No! San Antonio is where you wanna be! That is the main place with all the bars and night life. Es Cana is the quiet part where families go. Ibiza town is good for the hippy market and chilling in the day, or if you are into the gay scene I've heard this is the place to go at night. It IS still going off because I believe the clubs start having their end of season closing parties and stuff.
I went a few years ago at the start of September and had a cracking time. The West End in San Antonio is where you get all the chavs drinking as much as they can and groping members of the opposite sex. The best club I went to was Es Paradis which was in San An. Also, the essential Cafe del Mar is on the front at San An alongside Cafe Mambo. Ibiza Town is where the shemales hang about, but it's still good fun with a couple of good clubs. As Doolally said, Sept is when end of season parties are on. We went to Kiss, Ministry of Sound and Cream end of season parties all in one week! Be prepared to pay a few quid though! *note to self* make sure to go back one day you aging ****
Ibiza Town for sightseeing and gays.....Es Cana great for families......San An Town for wild clubbing [The San An Bay area is quieter....slightly]. Been to Ibiza mid-October and it was still hot right at the end of the season. Lovely island with an undeserved reputation thanks to a few idiot Brits.
