only a million and one places to go... so it depends, what sort of things do you want to see/do? Bear in mind anything round the Mediterranean will be somewhere between hot and boiling. Venice is a place everyone should see but it can be really uncomfortable in midsummer so make sure you get a room with air conditioning if you go.
