Hi Jean.....
Beleive me...I am forever in your debt!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for recommending Borneo to me. We had the most fantastic time. Kota Kinabalu was like heaven on earth....the Rasa Ria Hotel is the most amazing place I've ever stayed at [excellent cocktail bar....lol]..... We walked the canopies in the Rain forest on Mount Kinabalu, explored a water village [very smelly!!!], visited Sepilok [we are now the proud adoptive parents of two young Orangutans]....watched lightening storms everynight, we could even hear the Orangs calling at night from our room!!!! KL was 'interesting'.....but I'll never have another massage as long as I live....didn't read the 'extreme' bit on the flyer until after the lovely Malay gentleman had walked on my back!!!!!! But the shopping was great ;O}
Tioman Island was amazing too. I got 'mugged' by the local monkies....they raided our room....lol. I'm a little ashamed to say I didn't actually dive, there was just no need as the snorkelling was amazing....black tip reef sharks, barracuda, rays and turtles.
Oh and I have a tan to die for!!!!!!
Haven't had time to Photobucket [been promoted at work] any pics....But I'll get some on as soon as I can.
